I watched 'Red Cliff' again!

By now, you should understand how good this is!

#25 Hellboy II: The Golden Army

This Hellboy is visually delighting.

This hero is so different, more human than others (so ironic!). Good never looks so bad!

#24 The Dark Knight

I didn't really like 'Batman Begins' although many movie-goers and critics were giving great feedbacks about it.

But, 'The Dark Knight' is really different. This is edgy stuff. This movie explores the ugliness of human nature and regularity in chaos.

Christopher Nolan (producer/director/writer) is really talented. So is The Joker (the late Heath Ledger). In fact, The Joker really stole the whole show away.

#23 Red Cliff

John Woo is back... He's my favourite director of all time ever since he wnet to Hollywood with 'Hard Target', 'Broken Arrow' and 'Face Off'.

Since then, he had directed 2 not-so-good films - 'Windtalker' and 'Paycheck'. But, like what I said in the first line, 'John Woo is back'.

With all the hype, his latest epic 'Red Cliff' is truly the most anticipated Asian movie this year. Every sequence is designed to interlock the script.

Takeshi Kaneshiro as Strategist Zhuge-Liang and Chang Chen as Sun Quan are not compelling enough, but characters like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are as good as it gets!

As compared to 'The Warlords', it may not be as good probably because we still have a sequel to complete the whole story of the three kingdoms.

#19 Get Smart

I have been looking forward to this show since the beginning of the year.

In the tradition of 'Spy Hard', but a bit more serious and well-blended, 'Get Smart' gives the best out of Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway and The Rock!

Humour, at its stupidity, is not too low-class for the mass to appreciate!

#18 The Incredible Hulk

This is much more better than Ang Lee 'The Hulk' After all, Ang Lee is more suitable to do Brokeback Mountain and Lust Caution kinda movies, not so for summer blockbusters like Marvel superhero flicks!

This is good - simply one of the better Superhero movies in recent times! On par with Iron Man!
